Sultanat Askerova is an undergraduate student from the Lomonosov Moscow State University of Russia. Majoring in international relations, she also learns Arabic and English languages. She now works as a student intern at iSCAN, after two internships the Central Bank and Space Agency in Russia, the departments of which were connected with the establishment of relations with the Middle East. Her interest includes regional security, international relations between Middle East countries and the influence of extra-
regional actors on politics in this region.
She wants people to stop stereotyping Arab countries as a hotbed of terrorism, so she writes about the culture, history and life of real people to show the world all the unique beauty of this region. She also believes that in the future, she will be able to influence the overcoming conflicts in the Middle East and improve the lives of people whose conditions are tragic.
